These terms govern your access to and use of the Formally India website and the purchase of any products offered through it. "Formally India", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Formally India; "you" and "your" refer to the person accessing the site or placing an order.

By browsing this site, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept them, you must not use this site.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and the courts at Jharkhand, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.

We collect only the information required to operate the store and fulfil your orders: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, contact preferences, order and payment history, and the account credentials you create when you register or sign in.

We use this information to process and dispatch orders, provide order and shipping updates, respond to your enquiries, maintain your account and order history, prevent fraud, and comply with our tax and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not operate advertising or marketing tracking pixels on this site.

We share your information only with the service providers necessary to run the store, and only to the extent each one requires:

Payment processing: card, UPI and netbanking payments are handled by Razorpay. Payment credentials are entered with the payment provider and are never stored on our systems; we retain only the payment reference and status of your order.

Transactional email: order confirmations, dispatch notices and account emails are delivered through our email delivery provider.

Hosting and database: the website, your account record and your order records are hosted with our cloud hosting and database provider.

Delivery: your name, address and phone number are shared with the courier assigned to your shipment so that it can be delivered.

You may access and correct the personal information held in your account at any time by signing in. To request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account, write to care@formally.in and we will act on your request within a reasonable period.

We retain order, invoice and payment records for as long as required to meet statutory tax, accounting and audit obligations, even after an account is closed. Account information not subject to those obligations is deleted or anonymised on request.

Cookies and similar storage are used only for essential functions — keeping you signed in and preserving the contents of your cart. Disabling them will prevent sign-in and checkout from working.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when registering and at checkout, and you are responsible for all activity carried out under your account credentials.

All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Product listings, prices and availability may change without notice.

Your order is an offer to purchase. It is accepted only when we confirm dispatch. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order — including after payment authorisation — in cases of pricing or description error, suspected fraud, stock unavailability, or an undeliverable address, and to refund any amount already collected in full.

Colour, weave and finish may vary slightly from photographs due to screen calibration and the natural variation of woven fabric. Such variation is not a defect.

Title and risk of loss in the goods pass to you upon delivery to the address you supplied, or to any person at that address who accepts the shipment.

You may request a return or an exchange within 2 (two) days of delivery. Requests made after this window cannot be accepted.

Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, free of stains, odour and damage, and returned in their original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Items returned outside this condition will be sent back to you.

Formally India bears the cost of return shipping on approved return and exchange requests.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned item has been received and inspected, and may take up to 7–10 business days to appear depending on your bank or payment provider. Exchanges are dispatched subject to stock availability; where the requested replacement is unavailable, a refund is issued instead.

Except for any express warranty stated in writing by us, and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all products are supplied on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Formally India expressly disclaims all other warranties, representations and conditions of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, non-infringement, or arising from a course of dealing or usage of trade.

You acknowledge that the products are garments and accessories intended for ordinary personal and professional wear only. They are not protective, safety, medical, industrial, flame-resistant or performance equipment, and must not be relied upon or used as such. You are solely responsible for selecting products appropriate to your intended use, for verifying fit, and for following the care instructions, fabric composition and care labels supplied with each item.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Formally India, its owners, officers, employees, agents, suppliers and service providers shall not be liable for any injury, illness, allergic or dermatological reaction, irritation, discomfort, loss, damage, shrinkage, colour transfer, staining or bleeding onto skin, other garments, furnishings or property, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, data, or anticipated saving, or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, arising out of or in any way connected with the purchase, wear, use, misuse, alteration, tailoring, laundering, dry cleaning, storage or disposal of any product sold by us, whether such claim arises in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, breach of statutory duty or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.

Without limiting the foregoing, and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to any product, order or these terms shall in no event exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer in respect of goods that are defective or not as described. Where any exclusion or limitation in this section is held unenforceable, it shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remainder of these terms shall continue in full force.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Formally India and its owners, officers, employees and agents from and against any claim, demand, proceeding, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your breach of these terms, your misuse of any product, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

All content on this site — including text, product photography, campaign imagery, graphics, logos and the marks “Formally India” and “Command the Room.” — is owned by or licensed to Formally India and may not be copied, reproduced, republished or used commercially without our prior written consent.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, interfere with its operation or security, scrape or harvest data from it, or use it for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.

The site may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or reasons beyond our control, and we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free availability.

We may amend these terms at any time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order governs that order. Continued use of the site after an amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of it.
