Discipline, Cut and Sewn.

The Brief

We Only Make Work Clothes.

Formally India began with a single frustration: the Indian professional could buy a cheap shirt or an imported suit, and nothing in between that survived a real week. So we narrowed the brief until it was uncomfortable — office wear only. No denim, no t-shirts, no weekend line.

That constraint is the product. Every pattern is graded for Indian body types and Indian climate: breathable two-ply cottons, half-canvassed construction that moves with the shoulder, and linings chosen for 34°C boardrooms rather than European winters.

01

Fabric First

Mills in Coimbatore and Biella. Nothing below 120s for shirting, nothing below Super 110s for suiting.

02

Half-Canvassed

Floating canvas in every jacket so the chest moulds to you instead of pressing back.

03

Checked Twice

Every piece is measured against the hand pattern before it is bagged. Anything off by 3mm goes back.

Founder's Note

“I spent nine years in consulting and owned eleven shirts I hated. Formally India is the wardrobe I wanted then — fewer pieces, cut properly, priced so you can actually own the whole rotation. Wear it hard. That is the point.”
